Can I bring my child?

Answer:

Unfortunately not, without exception. The purpose of an untether getaway is to break free from the everyday chaos of life. For this reason, we decided to not allow children, without exception. There are a number of reasons for this which are listed below:

• We have unfenced bodies of water (hot tubs) which are a drowning risk

• The hot tubs have floor-level fires which is a burn risk for a child

• There are wild animals in the area, including birds of prey, scorpions and venomous snakes which pose significantly more risk to little humans

• Children make noise which can disturb other guests and interrupt their purposeful break-away

• Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions to this rule as it would be unfair to other guests who have embraced the no-child policy

Are you pet friendly?

Answer:

We do not allow pets for the reasons listed below:

• A large part of what we’re about at untether is the promotion and rehabilitation of natural environments and wildlife. For this reason, we don’t allow pets as they can disturb and chase away other naturally occurring animals

• Pets could defecate somewhere outside that their owners and our cleaning team don't see and that wouldn’t be nice for the next guests

• There are venomous snakes, scorpions, and birds of prey in the area that pose a threat to your precious pet

• Pets can make noise which could disturb other guests

• We can’t make exceptions to this rule as it would be unfair to other guests who have embraced the no-pet policy
